Installation center

Install with confidence. Play with pride.

Clear, practical steps for building a clean and durable modular sports surface from the first tile to the final edge ramp.

Set the job up right.

Good installation begins before the tiles come out of the carton. Use this checklist to prepare the site, work safely and avoid avoidable corrections later.

Safety first

Wear gloves and protective eyewear throughout the work.

Read the pattern

Confirm the layout and tile direction before you start.

Prepare the base

The subfloor must be flat, dry and free of debris.

01

Site Cleaning & Measurement

Ensure the installation site is perfectly flat, completely dry and thoroughly cleaned of debris. Use a tape measure to determine the court dimensions and verify the tile count before opening the cartons.

Field tip: If installing on grass or dirt, prepare a compacted sub-base or concrete slab first.

02

Determine the Starting Point

Choose a fixed corner, usually the top-left from the main viewing angle, or begin from the center line. Orient each tile so the female loops face the direction you are expanding towards.

03

Connect the Modules

Align the pegs over the loops and press down. Use your foot or a rubber mallet to tap the connection points until they click. Keep every seam tight and flush as the surface expands.

04

Cut & Trim the Edges

At walls or obstacles, mark the cut line with a marker and tape measure. Use a utility knife or jigsaw to trim the tile carefully for a clean, accurate fit.

05

Install Edging & Ramps

Snap the male and female edge ramps around the perimeter. They create a smooth transition, reduce trip risk and give the court a finished professional appearance.

06

Final Inspection & Cleaning

Walk the full court and check for loose connections or raised edges. Tap down any high points, then rinse the surface with water or sweep it clean. The court is ready to play.
